The Engineering Technician will be responsible for assisting the Drilling Fluids group with all related tasks performed by the group. This includes updating and maintaining information databases and gathering information from internal and external data sources. This position will also involve the preparation of project information and presentations for management meetings and conferences. Gather technical data and research well files to assist Drilling Engineers in efficient operation of drilling program. Will be required to monitor drilling well AFE performance, days-to-depth, cost-to-depth, bit records, etc.
Should have 2+ years' experience in duties as described. Must have strong computer skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Experience in Aries is a plus. Must possess good inter-personal skills and have the ability to work in a fast paced, multi-disciplined environment. High school diploma or GED required, college degree preferred.
