Senior Engineering Technician

The Sr Engineering Tech will be responsible for gathering data and researching files to assist Engineers in efficient execution of operations. This includes cost tracking and data analysis to increase optimization, efficiency, and cost control. Gathering data through various methods to help develop a picture of current standing and identify where improvements can be made, where costs can be reduced, and forecast project costs. The position will also be involved in the preparation of project information and presentations for management meetings and conferences, and will be required to monitor reports for accuracy, track operational performance, assist in Quarterly Reviews, and perform additional tasks as needed. The Engineering Tech requires an ability to work with cross-discipline groups and communicate needs and changes as appropriate.
College degree in mathematics, business, management, accounting, economics, statistics, information science or similar strongly preferred. Must have strong computer skills including data analytics. Modeling and programming skills are preferred but not required. Experience with the following preferred: share point, spotfire, SQL, crystal reports, business & cost allocations, and operational spend projections. Potential candidates must be able to look at large sets of data and understand trends, and then communicate those trends to management in operations. This position will require strong time-management skills and the ability to work multiple projects simultaneously. Must possess good interpersonal skills and have the ability to work in a fast paced, multi-disciplined environment. High school diploma or GED required.
Position will be filled at a level commensurate with experience.
