Business Systems Administrator

Administer Windows and Server networks, including both physical and virtual machines. Responsibility includes, but is not limited to: hardware, software, and maintenance of desktop computers, thin clients, laptops and network servers and equipment (switches, routers, wireless, etc.). Troubleshoot PC, network, and telecom problems. Provide general system support to multiple locations and be on-call for system maintenance and issue resolution. Stay current on computer technology, recommend ideas that will give the Denver Division a competitive advantage and improve production and effectiveness. Position is mostly server administration with some desktop support and special projects.
A bachelor’s degree in CIS or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years work experience with Windows 7/10, Microsoft Server 2008 through 2019, Linux, networking, and business/project management. VMware products, systems backups, Active Directory, and basic-to-intermediate server administration experience. Strong interpersonal and communication skills needed and must be a highly motivated self-starter with the ability to recognize and solve problems. On-call hours and up to 25% travel required. Must be able to lift 50lbs. Oil industry knowledge and experience preferred.
Position will be filled at a level commensurate with experience.
