Position is responsible for the supervision and operation of a new 300 MMSCFD cryogenic natural gas processing plant in the Delaware Basin. The Operations Foreman is responsible for recruiting, training, supporting, and supervising the Plant Operations staff. The Operations Foreman will oversee the plant operations which includes but is not limited to the following equipment: 

 
 

 
  • Natural gas and liquids separation
  • Condensate stabilization
  • Amine treating
  • TEG Glycol and Mole Sieve dehydration
  • Turbine, reciprocating, and screw compression
  • Turbine power generation
  • Propane refrigeration
  • Natural gas cryogenic processing
  • Valves, instrumentation, tanks, & pumps
  • CO2 compression, treating, & dehydration
  • Gas and liquids measurement
  • Reverse Osmosis water treating
  • Plant PLCs, DCS, and safety systems
  • PDCs, transformers, breakers, wiring, motors, VFDs, and additional electrical equipment
 

 
 
In addition, the Operations Foreman will be a key contributor to EOG's proactive safety culture. This is a unique grass-roots opportunity in which the Operations Foreman will play a role in the construction of the facility, along with the development of plant operating and maintenance procedures. The Operations Foreman will interface regularly with plant operator, I&E technician, mechanic, engineering, control room, environmental, supply chain, management, and safety teams. The ideal candidate will possess a broad knowledge of cryogenic plant operations and have a proven track record as an organizational leader. Position will be based at the Janus Plant site near Mentone, Texas.

 
Job Requirements

 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve in a safety leadership role, establish healthy safety culture, and be a leader in the organization
  • Safely and reliably operate the plant in accordance with plant operating procedures
  • Optimize plant operations and maintenance to improve plant safety, reliability, and efficiency
  • Recruit, train, develop, and supervise Plant Operators
  • Ensure plant operation meets downstream market specifications
  • Manage plant operational performance, budgeting, and expenses
  • Support the plant maintenance, mechanical integrity, and work order programs
  • Support planning and execution of plant outages and related maintenance activities
  • Coordinate with safety and maintenance teams to ensure Process Safety Management (PSM) compliance
  • Source and manage plant spare parts, inventory, and consumables
  • Develop and provide input on plant operating and maintenance procedures
  • Execute Management of Change (MOC) processes with required documentation
  • Verify Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and participate in periodic plant PHA's
Qualifications:
  • Unwavering commitment to personnel safety and regulatory compliance
  • Strong knowledge of cryogenic plant operations, equipment, & maintenance
  • Five years of cryogenic plant operations experience preferred
  • Five years of supervisory experience preferred
  • Excellent problem solving, communication, and leadership skills
  • Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control, and safety systems
  • Direct experience in the management of a PSM program preferred
  • Knowledge of turbine compression and power generation is considered a plus 
  • Ability to work in a highly innovative and fast-paced environment 
  • High School diploma
