Bachelor's degree in accounting - Master's degree preferred (CPA designation required).
Managerial experience required.
8+ years of total experience in accounting with an emphasis on SEC reporting.
4+ years of experience in public accounting preferred.
Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP) and SEC disclosure requirements for public companies.
Keen attention to detail and strong ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
A high sense of urgency, enthusiasm, strong initiative, and the ability to juggle multiple projects.
Deep understanding of ASC 932 and ASC 842.
Ability to perform technical accounting research and documentation.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written with a proven track record of successful teamwork, leadership, and independent project management.
Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with Hyperion and Workiva.
Oil and Gas experience strongly preferred.
Position will be filled at a level commensurate with experience.
