Responsibilities will include ensuring the completeness, accuracy, and documentation of all measurement related data within the assigned area of responsibility. The measurement analyst will maintain an accurate audit trail of all documented events relating to the measurement devices within the assigned area of responsibility. The analyst will have a working knowledge of gas and liquids measurement as well as a good understanding of the accounting processes that depend on measurement data. The analyst must exhibit strong communication skills, both oral and written, as the role functions as the liaison between the measurement personnel in the field and members of the other business functions in the division office. The preferred applicant should be familiar with reviewing gas measurement data for the purposes of resolving measurement discrepancies using FlowCal (or other similar software product). This position will require an understanding of gas and crude oil measurement practices. The applicant will be responsible for ensuring that measurement data has been collected and seems reasonable, resolving discrepancies, providing reports to interested parties and communicating problems and concerns to the appropriate teams. Other duties include data entry for Gas Analysis information, ensuring proper data transfer from different systems and editing gas and oil volumes.
Job Requirements
Minimum of 3 years' experience in office administration and working knowledge of accounting practices. A college degree preferred; high school diploma/GED required. Mid-stream / Pipeline experience desirable. Exceptional office, computer (Microsoft Excel and Word) and math skills. Must be very organized to self-direct, multi-task and prioritize. Flexibility required for changing priorities with short notice. Strict attention to detail required. Must have the ability to work in a team environment and interface and coordinate effectively with management, professional staff and support staff. Exceptional oral and written communication is required. Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times. Self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision. Able to handle multiple tasks at one time. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Must have a good driving record.
