Evaluate exploration and development opportunities. Participate in seismic acquisition and process theory and application, including pre-stack depth migration. Utilize geophysical skill set, including detailed seismic well ties, interpretation techniques for stratigraphic and structural style characterization, and reservoir property characterization. Perform seismic attribute mapping to understand reservoir quality and rock mechanical properties. Work on seismic modeling and elastic inversion. Utilize seismic quantitative interpretation techniques using seismic rock properties to perform tasks related to seismic acquisition, processing, and geomechanics projects. Use current 3D seismic workstation while working on the company projects providing horizontal drilling support. Perform field development tasks as needed. Integrate geologic models with the seismic interpretation.
Job Requirements
The successful candidate will possess a master's degree in Geophysics and must be able to work successfully in a multi-disciplinary, team environment. 5+ years as a geophysicist required. Experience with 3-D workstations and the use of Petrel, Kingdom, and/or Petra software preferred.
Position will be filled at a level commensurate with experience.
