The Supply Chain Associatewill primarily support the Houston HQ Supply Chain group with procurement and logistics of energy tubulars. They will also work collaboratively with Supply Chain personnel in all EOG divisions. Duties may include, but are not limited to:
Solicit quotes from logistics vendors and generate analyses of bids received and awarded.
Coordinate deliveries of material to EOG and third-party locations.
Work with logistics vendors to ensure all EOG requirements for insurance are up to date and invoices are submitted properly.
Participate in managing inspections, repairs, and warranty claims on tubulars.
Assist in creating Purchase Orders for OCTG and Line Pipe.
Generate analytic summaries and reports on purchasing trends.
Manage and distribute monthly inventory reports.
Effectively communicate with division personnel to facilitate receiving and processing of inbound material.
Participate in physical inventory counts at locations in the greater Houston area.
Assist in creating presentations in Power Point.
Provide general support to the Supply Chain team as needed.
Job Requirements
High School diploma or GED is required, bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, or a related field is preferred. 3+ years of experience within the Oil and Gas industry is preferred. Prior experience with procurement and logistics is beneficial but not required. Excellent oral and written communication skills are necessary, along with the ability to multi-task and reprioritize workload in a dynamic working environment. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook. This position may involve travel to field locations and vendor facilities; therefore, a valid driver's license is required.
