Gather, verify, organize and analyze complex datasets, and work with the team to provide actionable recommendations
Track progress against team and or department goals, metrics, and project targets
Support team in LOE budgeting, analyzing, accruals as well as flowback and artificial lift budgets
Work with the field teams on workover rig schedules, AFE's, failure data capture and review
Review technical data and research projects/operations with field operations to assist production engineers in LOE reductions, well failures, and new well production
Confirm accuracy of well, cost, and production data, take appropriate action on any changes, and communicate required corrections to the necessary parties
Act as a liaison between leadership and team to ensure everyone is on the same page with a smooth flow of information.
Assist in preparation of project information and presentations for management meetings, conferences, and submissions
Develop and maintain queries for efficient data mining from databases and IS programs. Collect data from various sources, build reports and/or visuals, and analyze data as requested by division
Understand data sources, workflow, and functionality of internal apps to provide support for others in the division
Initiates and develops more accurate and reliable processes, data analyses, and reporting methodologies
Liason with internal teams (Headquarters, IR, Operations, Engineering, Accounting, IS) and the field and help provide any data or assistance they need and generate communication
Provides direction and continual communication to the division on objectives, expectations and timelines relating to budgeting, projects, conferences, and presentations
Ensure regulatory requirements are met in states of operation (WY, ND)
Schedule and coordinate meetings, travel arrangements, and appointments
Design and order apparel and other handouts
Job Requirements
Proficient in well data software and data analysis tools (WellView, Aries, Spotfire, Power BI)
Highly proficient in Microsoft Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
Knowledge in SQL, creating queries and data visualization applications
Ability to multitask and prioritize in deadline-driven environment
Desire to improve and streamline processes and data quality for department and organization
Ability and desire to think outside the box to help improve data analysis, communication and error minimization
Basic understanding of oil and gas terminology and industry standards. Prior operations tech experience is desired.
Strong inter-personal skills and have the ability to work in a fast paced, multi disciplines environment
Strong organization and time management, communication skills, attention to detail, and problem solving. Be capable of adaptability, data mining, building meaningful reports, relationship building, and project management.
