We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Reservoir Engineering Specialist to join our Corporate Reserve team. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical foundation in reservoir engineering, a working knowledge of commercial oil and gas economics software, a general understanding of SEC rules and regulations, and the ability to integrate multidisciplinary data to support divisions in optimizing asset performance. This role requires a self-starter who is detail-oriented, data-driven, highly curious, and capable of transforming complex data into forward-thinking solutions that shape strategic direction.

Key Responsibilities
SEC reserves estimation and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
Prepare and present material necessary for the completion of internal and external technical and process audits
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary asset teams, corporate planning, and accounting teams to ensure accurate forecasting of volumes and economic inputs for reserve estimation
Lead initiatives to streamline current workflows and implement innovative solutions that enhance productivity and increase efficiency
Track and communicate performance metrics for areas of responsibility to support informed decision-making
Collaborate with corporate technical team and division asset teams to identify and prioritize technical projects for asset optimization
Perform reservoir engineering analyses including decline curve analysis, material balance, volumetric calculations, pressure transient analysis, rate transient analysis, and nodal analysis to support volume forecasts
Contribute to reservoir simulation studies and PVT analysis as needed
Prepare and present reserve reports and technical findings to senior management
Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline
Experience:
7+ years in oil & gas, including at least 3 years in reservoir engineering and exposure to operations
Technical Skills:
Strong proficiency in reservoir engineering principles and fundamentals
Working knowledge of commercial economics software (e.g., ARIES, ComboCurve)
Familiarity with reservoir simulation and PVT analysis
Ability to integrate data from all disciplines including geology, geophysics, and petrophysics
Soft Skills:
Self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Highly data-driven and intellectually curious
Ability to influence decisions and lead cross-functional initiatives
Excellent communication and presentation abilities
Preferred Attributes
Experience with SEC reserves reporting
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
