Provide field data and assist in the preparation of documents and applications to obtain required permits, including air, wetlands, NPDES, and DOT permits. Coordinate preparation and implementation of environmental compliance plans such as but not limited to: SPCC, Stormwater, Waste Management, Avian and Wildlife Protection Plans. Maintain knowledge on all state and federal and regulatory changes and proposed changes that may impact EOG safety and environmental. Perform and coordinate required safety and environmental training for operations personnel. Participate in Team Building Training. Report safety and environmental incidents internally and externally as required. Assist in the coordination and documentation of emergency table top exercises and response drills. Provide guidance to EOG contractors for improving their safety and environmental programs in accordance with EOG's expectations. Assist operations personnel in implementation of safety and environmental stewardship practices for the division. Assist with incident response, investigation and development of corrective actions. Assist with preparation and distribution of incident summaries and safety information. Assist operations with waste management including development of waste profiles and manifesting for proper transport and disposal practices. Work within an electronic-based compliance system to manage and document inspection, compliance and audit tasks; as applicable and required. Coordinate preparation and submission of relevant and applicable EPCRA reporting. Willing to travel up to 50%. Willing to work and travel safely in inclement weather conditions.

Job Requirements


Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Safety, Environmental or related field preferred. 1-3+ years' experience in Safety & Environmental preferred. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential. Strong technical knowledge. Broad knowledge of safety and environmental laws and regulations. Must be computer literate with excellent communications and analytical skills. Effective multitasker and strong ability to adaptively manage various project with dynamic priorities. Ability to work effectively with others at all levels. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Ability to exercise sound judgment.

Position will be filled a level commensurate with experience.
