Responsibilities will include analyzing land contracts and leases; preparing leases and contracts for input; internal and external correspondence and notification concerning proposals, new wells, farm-outs and non-consents; maintaining and updating internal reports and maps; preparing, processing, monitoring and routing AFEs and land/legal invoices, internally and externally; providing technical administrative support to the Land staff; preparation of exploration agreements; processing leases for payment; addressing the custom mapping needs of others in the department.
Must be a highly motivated self-starter with the ability to handle a heavy workload, prioritize projects and meet critical deadlines. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and have the ability to learn new software. Knowledge of ArcView and IHS is a plus. Excellent verbal and written skills; strong computer skills; excellent organizational skills; a 'can-do' positive approach to work; adaptability, an ability to quickly establish and maintain relationships at all levels in the organization, and a high standard of ethics is required. A minimum of a High School diploma or GED is required. Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Position will be filled at a level commensurate with experience.
