The Human Resources Compliance Administrator II is primarily responsible for ensuring overall compliance with existing HR policies and established practices.

Responsibilities:
  • Plans, develops, coordinates, and implements policies, procedures, and processes to support the human resource compliance and strategy needs
  • Partners with Legal to monitor and ensure the company's compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommends best practices
  • In partnership with the HR process owners/subject matter experts, drafts, edits, reviews, and recommends modifications to policies, procedures, and practices to maintain compliance
  • Administers immigration law, visa sponsorship process, expatriate and repatriation programs
  • Collaborate with HR process owners to maintain required compliance documentation with internal controls
  • Manages the alcohol and drug screening process and compliance, including administering DOT, post-accident, random, reasonable suspicion, and return-to-duty testing
  • Oversees pre-employment background check process, I-9 and e-Verify process and compliance
  • Administers SAMBA Safety motor vehicle report compliance and partners with HR Reps for follow-up actions
  • Designs and assists the HR team in the education and training of workforce on regulatory and compliance issues
  • In consultation and partnership with the Legal team, keeps apprised and monitors, reviews, and reports on federal, state, and local legislative changes including USCIS, OFCCP, EEO, VEVRAA, Affirmative Action, ADEA, USERRA, etc. practices and trends and advises regarding required updates or postings
  • Partners with HRIS for timely submittal of EEO-1, VETS, California Pay Data and other governmental reporting
  • Supports activities of the AAP program by assisting with the development of presentations or training on Affirmative Action concepts and objectives
  • Assists in regulatory assessments following established procedures
  • Monitors and responds to emails sent to the Compliance team inbox in a timely manner
  • Collaborates within HR regarding internal Audit requests/reviews to provide requested information, responds to all audit notifications and reporting requirements and ensures compliance with deadlines
  • Assists with workplace accommodations, including ADA tracking and compliance
  • Aids in executing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) efforts - reviews and uses data where change or continued focus is required in relation to DEI plan
  • Administers compliance training records and reporting
  • Other compliance projects and risk assessments as assigned

 
Job Requirements

 

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in HR Compliance related function
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field from an accredited institution or equivalent additional years of experience
  • Excellent knowledge of employment law is required
  • Immigration and visa process oversight
  • Oil and Gas industry experience is a plus
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills
  • Ability to be proactive, self-motivated, and self-directed
  • Good communication (verbal and written) and listening skills
  • Good organizational and strategic skills
  • Critical thinking skills to identify, research, conduct analysis, and recommend solutions to complex needs
  • Must maintain confidentiality in daily operations
  • Domestic travel up to 25%

Position will be filled at a level commensurate with experience.
