Manage EOG's Oklahoma City Division Safety program including but not limited to the following duties:
Provide supervision of all EOG safety personnel supporting the Division
Identify and communicate required functions and review effectiveness of contract safety consultants
Provide guidance to operations on safety related issues
Provide performance measures and trending to EOG management at the Division and Corporate level
Coordinate and participate in Safety & Environmental audits
Develop programs in coordination with operations to improve S&E performance and efficiencies
Manage coordination and scheduling of employee safety training
Evaluation of contractor safety performance and policies
Scheduling and oversight of Safety Teambuilding and Safety Leadership Training sessions for employees and contractors
Participation in corporate EHS meetings as necessary
Coordinate administration of safety records and reports
Incident reporting, investigation and establishment of corrective actions as needed
Distribution of safety manuals and safety alert literature
Job Requirements
A minimum of 8 years oil and gas experience in the safety field preferred. CSP is preferred. Must be computer literate and have excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work cooperatively with both company and contract field personnel. Must be highly motivated and able to work with minimum supervision. College degree preferred. Job will require significant travel within the Division operating area and also travel to other EOG Divisions and Corporate Headquarters.
Position will be filled a level commensurate with experience.
