The primary duty of the Staff Title Analyst will be to support a geophraphic team by completing necessary land title work to achieve the Division's exploration and production objectives. The Staff Title Analyst will have the experience and skills necessary to fulfill the following required responsibilities within a defined geographical area. Set-up and maintain oil and gas leases. Monitor lease calendar to tender delay rentals, lease extensions, minimum royalties, and shut-in payments. Transfer leased acreage to producing based on plats and unit summaries. Review and set-up contracts, including assignments, unit declarations, joint operating agreements, and farmouts. Build joint interest billing decks and divisions of revenue interest based on division order title opinions, including the calculation of gross working interest, net revenue interest, and identification of title requirements for suspense purposes. Perform well record maintenance. Communicate with interest owners to obtain necessary documents for title curative and ownership changes.
Job Requirements
7+ years' experience in land/title-related functions with advanced skill in lease, contract, and division order maintenance. Bachelor's degree preferred, high school diploma or GED required. Ability to multi-task and utilize various land related computer applications. Tobin Land Suite proficiency a plus. Must be self-motivated and possess strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
