Oversee daily rig operation, equipment, logistics and performance. Ensure safety, performance and cost-efficiency in executing drilling and completion programs for the rig. Secure well permitting and regulatory engagement, including meeting with local regulatory agencies as needed. Work on detailed well design with EOG engineering team and rig crews. Provide technical specifications for materials/equipment needed. Work with suppliers and vendors to determine material and equipment requirements for drilling operation and will participate in decreasing flat time by making connection practices more efficient. Write cost estimates and drilling procedures. Contribute expertise to ensure technical excellence, cost-effectiveness, and safety of drilling operations.
MINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Petroleum Engineering
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Ten (10) years of experience as Petroleum, Drilling, or Drilling and Completions Engineer, Specialist or Manager.
Position will be filled at level commensurate with experience
